L’ordinarietà dei nostri e’ chiara anche dalle loro abitudini: quasi tutte le registrazioni degli album storici iniziano a gennaio.
On 6 January 1975 Pink Floyd began recording for their ninth studio album ‘Wish You Were Here’ at Abbey Road Studios, released in September of that year. The studio sessions took place four days a week from 2.30pm in the afternoon until late in the evening and engineered by Brian Humphries who previously had worked with the band on their live sound for their British tour in 1974.
Pictured here are Pink Floyd in the Studio Three control room during their recording sessions in 1975, captured by Jill Furmanovsky.
